*****
On Saturday & Sunday
October 22nd & 23rd 2005
D.R. White attended the
Alabama Renaissance Faire
in
Florence, Alabama
*****
Aside from conducting his usual book signing, D.R. White had his own pavilion for selling his swords and other faire related objects.

A few of the items found at D.R. White's booth. Notice the candles and leather crafts on the tables behind the shield display. They belonged to Sir Sandy and Lady Daisy of the Harpers Inn, an online community.

*****
A few more of
D.R.'s swords
*****
As mentioned above, Sir Sandy of the Harpers Inn was in attendance at the festival as well. He and Mr. White shared a booth space.
*****
Also in attendace were two of D.R. White's closest friends, Donald Wyatt
and
Terry "MacCrow" Newman
*****
Their presence was greatly appreciated by Mr. White, for they helped him put on a small skit based on one of his books to help promote sales at the signing, which immediately followed the performance.
*****
Here we see D.R. White as Tobias rushing up to inform Donald Wyatt, who was playing the part of Donuel, of a great treasure discovered many years ago by Reptile.
*****
Here we see Mr. Newman as Sir Terrance MacCrow showing his hesitance over leaving Donuel and Tobias alone to discuss maters.
*****
After giving his squire permission to go on the treasure hunt, all MacCrow asked was that his friends bring him back a chicken on a stick!
*****
Afer returning from the trip, Tobias looks shocked as Sir Crow asks him about his booty! (money bag)
*****
Immediately after the performance, D.R. White gave the audience a chance to purchase autographed copies of his first two novels. The Renfaire Tales
and
The Renfaire Tales - Book Two
*****
When they weren't performing or helping with D.R.'s booth, this trio of modern day musketeers were busy sharing many exciting adventures together at the faire.
*****
With the many colorful characters there, excitement wasn't hard to find!
*****
An exotic belly dancer.
*****
A fair maiden!
*****
An oversized leprechaun!
*****
A knight, jester and a wizard!
*****
An enchanted statue?
Watch closely...
You might see it move!
*****
Those were just a few of the sights
seen by D.R. White. All in all,
a good time was held by all at the
Alabama Renaissance Faire!
